Hello my name is Mayra Riestra. Welcome to my page! I am a Hispanic educator focused on encouraging positive values in my students. I am passionate about teaching them life skills like teamwork, responsibility, discipline, empathy, and respect. I strive to inspire my students to have an open outlook towards other people and to contribute positively to the world. My artistic experience and cultural background have been valuable foundations for my theatrical productions. I hope to encourage audiences to be compassionate, sensitive individuals who can make a positive difference in the world.

Snow White and the Boardwalk Band
Snow White and the Boardwalk Band is a musical by Javier Muñoz and Diego Izola from Madrid’s Jana Producciones and was the winner of Spain's Best Musical Award 2010. Translated and adapted in English by Mayra Riestra and Yaletza Peralta, this is Colegio Ponceño’s production which was presented at Teatro La Perla, Ponce, PR in 2012. Produced by Mayra Riestra and directed by Lauryliz Gonzalez. Assistant director: Yaletza Peralta; stage manager: Frankie Vilariño; vocal director: Neftali Acevedo; choreographer: Vickiana Jimenez.
